FIJI INDEPENDENT COMMISSION AGAINST CORRUPTION (FICAC)
RETURNS COUNCIL DOCUMENTS

Fiji independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) has returned all the documents, which it took
from the Council on 22nd March 2007. The documents included Council Minutes payment vouchers,
contract documents etc.

Council believes that FICAC took the documents upon receiving complaints against the Council. Council is
still not aware of the nature of complaints and who the complainants are.

Nevertheless, Council is pleased to receive the clean bill and thanks the FICAC for handling the issue
very professionally and with all due respect to the Council. Ratepayers and citizens of Nadi are hereby advised to contact the Council if any of their issue were pending with the Council due to their files being with FICAC.
